Windows 10 has continued to impress all with it’s rapid market share growth. Of course the “haters gonna hate” and say that it will never succeed or even come close to being the major overhaul that Microsoft needs. In essence, the ones who do in fact say this about Windows 10 are just not believers in the change that Satya Nadella has brought to the company. The stats speak for themselves however.
From July 2015 to December 2015 Windows 10 has grabbed almost 10% market share. Windows XP has steadily decreased to 10.93%. Windows 8.1 has slowly decreased to 2.76%. And Windows 7 has even taken a small hit, decreasing to 55.68%.
If the trends set here is consistent, and it most certainly has been so far, Windows 10 is projected to control around 40% by 2018.
