Editorial: iPad Pro vs. Surface Pro

Why has Apple decided to copy Microsoft with their new iPad Pro? Tim Cook, Apple’s current CEO said that the Surface Pro device is

“…a product that tries too hard to do too much.  It’s trying to be a tablet and a notebook and it really succeeds at being neither. It’s sort of diluted.” – Tim Cook

Uh…. Mr. Cook. What does your iPad Pro try to accomplish? Oh yeah my bad! It’s a tablet with a keyboard. And since its not a Surface, it’s not a “notebook.” I am a dedicated Surface Pro 3 user. Of course I have used an iPad (who hasn’t). My opinion is, if you want to get stuff done – go with the Surface. If you want to look cool and maybe browse the web a bit – go with an iPad. I still do not believ that the iPad Pro brings together the tablet and “productivity” experience that the Surface does.

Business Insider also agrees and says,

“Most of the early reviews of the iPad Pro have been positive, but criticism has centered around the iPad Pro’s inability to bridge the gap between laptop and tablet using accessories like a stylus and a keyboard.” – Business Insider
